Re: NLP RCG
Wed, July 2, 2008 - 7:37 AMas it relates to psychonavigation: it is a non drug method, and psychedelic in its imports.
NLP, and the general methods of seeing people's subtle actions, and subtle bodies is a great
method of tuning the mind so that when one does ingest entheogens, they may stay longer, and see more in them selves and the universe around them.
After all, the trip into the woods to find your lost mule is not complete until you ride it back home and share it with your neighbors. -

Wed, July 2, 2008 - 10:09 AMWe had a mule barbecue with our neighbors. It was a little chewy.
NLP is a wonderful psychonavigation tool. It is useful in re-accessing states, customizing states, developing rapport with others while in various states, and much else.

Re: NLP RCG
Wed, July 2, 2008 - 3:05 PMNLP on LSD is exponentially more powerful, especially when both parties are on. You go much deeper and all the techniques, strategies and effects are significantly more effective change ;)
I assisted a young lady who was on LSD and was having a really 'bad trip' that turned out to be her need to reprocess, and transcend the sexual abuse she had received from her father. She had repressed the memory of for 20 years and was manifesting it with all sorts of disorders, depressions, fears, intimacy issues, PTSD, personality disorders, etc.. the works.
She was able to process the entire experience and arrive at a place of understanding and compassion for herself and her father (also a victim) in about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Of course, there was lots of work to be done in the following months, and she was in space to do it herself and with the help of another therapist ( who is very experienced in the use of entheogens).
I saw her again, very recently, just 2.5 years later; empowered, self confident, on her path.
1 serendipitous session was all it took to cross the tipping point to a much healthier life experience.
As far as I am concerned all humans and most especially all psychonauts need to learn NLP and hypnotherapy to learn how to fine tune their (un)conscious mind to it's highest potential. -

Wed, July 2, 2008 - 4:46 PMRafael, agreed, the NLP/entheogen combination can be one of the quickest routes to healing and brain change. It does require that the guide be experienced and trained in the use of both. Alas, they just don't let us do these things here in the USA. -

Re: NLP RCG
Thu, July 3, 2008 - 11:06 AMShadoan, the RCG site looks great and there's quite a bit of useful information. I love to read about and discuss NLP - After over 20 involvement in the field, tho, I can't emphasize enough that it is best learned in actual face-to-face to situations. If you can read about it and bamboozle your friends to help you practice, that's one way. The model for learning NLP is much like the model for learning martial arts - always way better actually in a class with an experienced instructor. Keep reading, keep discussing - and look for your opportunities to get some live training, too. -
