(or maybe you have?) But I mean say as a thought experiment you are stupid wealthy, any entheogen or combination, anywhere in the world under almost any circumstances we could imagine?

and you could say hire the rolling stones or ... Cher (4 you gay trippers!) but use your imagination - not simply a trip into the wilderness to eat a few grams as I do but crazy out of control like Elvis out there kind of shit. Any auditorium or theatre anywhere in the world and anyone you want to perform and anykind of music, art, performance art, performance or all at once - all this worlds resources available for the perfect trip ?? Space anyone? O man that sounds cool.

maybe you want to trip and skydive or trip and skydive with beautiful twins who make love to you on the way down? Maybe you want legions of marching midgets dressed in full battle regalia who suddenly break from a cadenced march to laughing and jumping for joy, casting thousands of soft, velvety petals upon you as you trip balls on whatever you are tripping balls on? ha ha ha

Your own burning will but with unlimited resources?

or perhaps something more subtle like the peace of paradisical island to share with the one you love - or a hooker, no judgment here!

or simply alone deep in the absolute darkness of seldom visited cave - the lighter flares like bonfire in the darkness as you quickly bring it to the DMT ...

I have been so over Cher for over ten years. I like her as a person but could really give a damn about her music or anything else she's doing. There. I said it. Not all us fags are Cher freaks. I'd prefer to see Frontline Assembly or Cirque Du Soleil. Or Van Halen, Motley Crue, Scorpions, Billy Idol, The Cult, etc.....

But if I ever do dmt I dont think I would want to be at a concert. My perfect trip would be in a padded room with a few caring people that could hold my hand and give me some water to drink or massage me if I felt I needed it to calm down. Or forget the padded room. How about on a huge bed with a nice comforter and pillows in a nature setting. On the top of a mountain with a view of the beach. But still with two or three people there to restrain me so I dont hurt myself if I totally freak out.

This is a great post. Well done. Thumbs up!

Mine would have to take place in outer space, with the 2001 obelisk whispering things to me. Or jumping around in a huge enclosed colony bubble on the moon (a crater bubbled over). Maybe with a little bicycle-kite that you pedal through the air. Some of those craters are pretty deep. We will have this as soon as we really explore buckyball technology and have some relatively simple self-replicating robots (to patrol the enclosure to mend the holes from micrometeorites).

Oh yes of course a light trip (or more heavy), looking down at a panorama of terraformed rills, hillsides, lush with crops and all kinds of flora and fauna. And the bike has an inbuilt hooka!

O man and I'd have to go back and at least take a shot at getting high with some Cro magnum - "dude," I tell them, "one day in the far future you will have a chance to buy Walmart stock for less than 50 cents a share - you must put all of your money into Walmart stock," and I'd write that down for them and I'd be like a god and that would be my only commandment. "If you keep this commandant for all time with your god, your ancestors will one day rule this entire planet" ...

Years ago, we went to the animation fest. Thought it would be incredible on mushrooms. Thing is, you couldn't tell what was good animation and what was hallucination.

I'll do the rings of Saturn with a clear head, and when it comes time to trip it will be in a big, warm house with no phones or tvs, with warm lovely people. A floaty room with lava lamp walls, massages available at will, and all the right music.

In reality, if I could control one thing about a trip, it would be feeling good. All too often, a trip is diminished or even ruined because of a headache, or having to pee, or just being too tired.
No matter how much prep you do, and how many feather beds you fill with oily sex-twins, it all comes down to your

        own

        head.

My trips are never "feel good" really. The last time and only time my wife was involved as a sitter, she said (who has never eaten mushroom s or LSD or anything) "my god even when you were unconscious, you were moaning and wrething around on the bed. It sure didn't look like you were having any fun!"

Sad thing is after all this, she things that I do for fun. But I've never had what I would describe as a "bad trip" either. Now I approach life just like a trip: hum, why is this happening now, what am I to learn from this ... because in trips whenever I "figure out" what is going on, what lesson I am being instructed in, then the "bad" part stops instantly.
